in American schools, more specifically Baltimore County Public Schools should be able to wear headphones in class, not specifically while given instruction…but when we are free to do our work. We should be given some time to listen to our music and shouldn’t be restricted from listening to it for no apparent reason.

 Since headphones give no distraction to the teacher, while might being a distraction to the student, they should still be able to have a limit and control how long they listen to it, Music in fact helps a student focus more when it comes to doing the work because they are not focused on what’s going on outside of it.

1.     Headphones should only be used when doing work and not during instruction

2.     Headphones are to be used at a reasonable volume

3.     Headphones are for music use only, not to be on the phone.

4.     Headphones should be used to students can focus in class.

5.     Headphones should not be banned in the classrooms.
