There are two types of earaches one in the inner ear and one in the outer ear. The one in the inner ear is called otitis media. It is cased by fluid getting trapped behind your ear drum. Most ear infections cure by themselves but sometimes you can get a antibiotic to help get rid of the infection. you can also get a pain killer. The pain killers you would use are Tylenol, Advil, or even aspirin. These would relieve the pain from the ear. Some of the signs and symptoms associated with the earache are Fever, Ear pain, Jaw pain, Sore throat, Itching, and swelling around the ear. Sometimes these symptoms can get very serious or they can be very light. There are many more ways the earaches can be caused but swimmers ear is most common.
Questions

What type of pain killers are best for earaches?

     2. What are some of the symptoms for the earaches?

1. I get swimmers ear when water sits in my ear for a long time. It's an infection in the outer ear caused by the bacteria. So if I get water in my ear I should get out as soon as I can before it gets infected.
2. False, because it says that it's an infection in the outer ear. Plus, water can't get in my brain because there is no opening. If it did get in my brain, I wouldn't get swimmers ear.

1. People get swimmers ear because when they are swimming, water gets in their ear. It is caused by water that staysin your ear for a long time. This will make the ear infected.

2. False, Swimmers ear is not when water gets into your brain. Swimmers ear is an infection in the ear because of water that was in your ear for a long time. Also the infection is called ¨swimmers ear" this makes it obvious that it has to do with the ear (not the brain).
