The American Dream is dead; let’s just get that out of the way. Up until the 50’s the American Dream is how people wanted to live it’s why people came to America but not so much now. The American Dream is now just personal dreams because to be happy and have a comfortable life you have to have money and connections. People who come off the street usually dont have both.

Especially immigrants who come from another country most of the time with very little funds and no connections. That is why I think the American Dream is dead.

Money is the whole reason anyone does anything today. Do you want a car you have to have money. Do you want a house you have to have money. Do you want to provide for your family you have to have money. People today may think that this is the American Dream but it isn’t and it should not be because getting money is all people are doing because it costs so much just to live. 

The American Dream has been going down since the 50’s because of Wars, Poverty, and injustice. People have lost part of their lives in jobs because how much time do you spend a day working and then how much does a car cost. Because a ten thousand dollar car could take you months to pay for because you have to pay so many things.

People are losing faith in the American Dream because it's a dying lifestyle because it is no longer relevant because the world is moving on and we are not the country we used to be. We are trying to build billion dollar walls and trying to cut education budgets. The American Dream is not a viable option anymore because of these things we are paying to much money just to be able to live comfortably 

The American Dream is dead. People can not live that way anymore because its not accurate. The American Dream is now a personal dream because the American dream was to have a family and everyone is equal. But that's not how the world works. People are not equal and there is no Santa Clause the world is changing. Hopefully it’s for the better but I doubt that Americans are going to have to figure their stuff out.
