The pigs are greedy. It is because they take the power of being the leader. They also have a more relaxed life than other animals as they are the leaders.This shows that the pigs are greedy. The pigs are corrupted because without the other animals knowing the pigs drank the milk. The pigs are hypocrite as they said that no one shall drink the milk yet they did so.

Evidence: Napoleon was a large, fierce-looking Bershire boar.Snowball was a more vivacious pig compared to Napoleon and quicker in speech and more inventive.Squealer was a small fat pig with round cheeks, twinkling eyes, nimble movements, and a shrill voice, he also a brilliant talker when it comes to an argument.

The pigs are sly. This is evident from " 'Never mind the milk, comrades,' Napoleon cried, placing himself in front of the buckets." This obviously explains that the pigs are obviously diverging the other animals attention to distract them from realising the pigs who are wanting to drink the milk.

The pigs are also competitive. This is evident as in the later part of the story, the pigs snowball and Napoleon always object to each other ideas and try to overpower each other. This overpowering all the time proves them to be very competitive.

The pigs are also persuasive. This is evident as they appointed an animal squealer in the passage it is evident such as in " The best known among them was a small fat pig named Squealer, with very round cheeks, twinkling eyes, nimble movements, and a shrill voice. He was a brilliant talker." This explains that the pigs ahead a very persuasive media.

The pigs are very selfish and hypocritical. They state that nobody in the farm shall drink the milk, as stated in page 30 of the book, Napoleon said, "Never mind the milk, comrades," In the evening the milk was gone. On the same page it states "and when they came back in the evening it was noticed that the milk had disappeared." The possible culprit for the disappearance of the milk was Napoleon as he was the one nearest to the milk. ("Placing himself in front of the buckets.") This means that even though Napoleon said that the animals could not drink the milk, Napoleon or the pigs drank the milk. This also shows that the pigs cared way more about themselves than the other animals in the farm.

the pigs are selfish and cunning

Evidence : nevermind the milk comrades... The milk had dissapeared(The milk is stolen later)

Explanation : The pigs told their comrades that the milk will be attended to later however the pigs took the milk all for themselves which shows that they are cunning. The pigs did not tell anyone of their comrades that they stole the milk which shows their cunning.
