I personally love block island for its little shops, resturants and the people who also call the island home or their home away from home. The island is so beautiful and inviting, everyone knows everyone and are very welcoming to any tourists. While I am there I like to lay by the beach and soak up the sun as I watch the little sail boats go by or the local surfers catching some waves. She raised me all by herself while still going to college and working to further her degree. She has been through a long and tough divorce with my father when I was only a year old. We had to pack our things up and move into my aunts house and start from scratch. Me at only being a year old at the time my mother had so much on her plate but still managed to make my childhood amazing. The weather is nice it's not too warm but not too cold at the same time. The leaves are also changing and displaying beautiful tones of red, orange and brown all over the trees. Plus you can go pumpkin picking with your friends and family or just stay inside and make pumpkin pie while drinking apple cider.
