I do not agree with abortion. But I do think that we should protect these rights and not let government infringe upon what women are allowed to do with their bodies. A small group presents a draft to the full committee of 112 delegates. Then the delegates, 2 from each state, vote and bring up issues and changes they would like to see. Everyone votes and this creates the parties platform that they will stand for. I really appreciated this and thought that this way of representing the party really worked well. I feel that my understand of the Party Platforms are much better than before in really researching the how and why these are even held.
