On hearing a shot, Ana Lucia goes to the central room and upon arriving at the place finds Barbara dead, and a gun beside, after that, her whole family arrives, and they are deceived to think that Ana Lucia had killed her.
Ana Lucia is 10 years imprisoned for a crime she did not commit and promises to seek revenge against two people: Cissa, her twin sister, who married her husband after Ana was arrested, and Barbara's true killer. Who killed her, anyway?
When searching for answers, Ana Lucia discovers that the two people to whom she desires a cruel revenge, in fact, are the same person. Ana Lucia then gets proof of her innocence and Cissa is arrested for all the crimes committed.
