Part of my job (training coordinator) is to schedule meetings, book flights and hotels, and plan corporate events. I feel like doing those tasks through websites and AI will become much easier over the next 2-5 years, leaving me without a job.

Generative AI will impact my job in a drastically different way. I believe there would be a net positive benefit but I will get into the negative as well. Well firstly, it could make my job easier from writing to fixing anything. I use chat GPT to ask and simply complicated questions so my work could be easier in that way. The negative side of that would be lack of creativity for me and others. We would be depended on an AI that will do the thinking for us so we have to find a creative way to use it to not hinder creativity.

Supply chain/logistics

I think that in the next 2 years AI will increase job production in certain categories like being able spot trends and group certain spikes in demand depending on times of years while also sending back the needed info to analyze

I am a supply chain major and I think AI will play a role in forecasting. Companies might use AI to predict what the demand will be for products in certain periods.

I think that in my future career in human resources AI will make repetitive tasks more manageable. Such as writing job descriptions or analyzing data. With the help of AI I will be able to spend more time focusing on tasks like talent development and work place culture. While using AI to my advantage to help with decision making.

AI will impact my job performance in the next two years as a receptionist because it will cause certain job functions to become automated such as appointment setting, general questions, and phone calls. There will be less tedious work tasks and more opportunity for job engagement.

Gen AI will make doing tasks quicker in media marketing with quality pre-made templates for posts and websites.

I am a quality assurance specialist for the reservations department with Marriott. I think AI will impact my job performance by eventually being able to evaluate calls instead of people listening to calls and scoring.

I am currently a manager for a local dessert shop. We are a small business but I do our ordering of supplies, creating schedules, managing our fundraisers , etc. I think the Gen AI could benefit us in doing all our core activities. I think it could help with ordering inventory and keeping track of what we need at a more sufficient level. I think it would make our life easier but may hinder or small business with how we like to run things currently. It may help with fundraising efforts for our company’s we work with. I think it could improve job performance with letting some of our duties lighten.

I am in HR (mostly focusing on interviewing and the hiring process), I believe that it could be extremely beneficial to sort through the applicant pool, saving me time. I also think it will be helpful to come up with new interview questions that really help us understand the applicants intentions. Throughout the hiring process, I am not sure how much it will help because it varies person to person.
