I LOVE ornaments -- I try to collect one everywhere I travel. I also have had ornament exchange parties many years and make homemade ornaments to give to friends. These are a few of my more "successful" creations ;)

"Elf" is by far my favorite Christmas movie. We never get sick of it. There are so many good classics though -- Christmas Vacation, Home Alone and Daddy's Home 2 are also staples during the holidays at our house.

Disneyland Souvenir/Ornament

I'm excited to just soak in all the family time. Our only venture out will be to drive to Nauvoo, Illinois for a couple days between the holidays to visit my parents who are on a mission there right now (It's only about 6.5 hours from where I live now).

Although this isn't a gingerbread house I actually made, we did get pretty good at them after about 20 years of practice. My mother-in-law and her sister would make the gingerbread house "parts" every year and we would go all out to make very elaborate houses. I guess I better figure out how to make gingerbread and carry on the tradition!-Stacy
