         <description><![CDATA[<div>Diagnosis during pregnancy can be done through two methods-- a screening test and a diagnostic test. Screening tests do not give a definitive yes or no, however, diagnostic tests can cause a small risk of complications, including miscarriage.          <title>The Types of Down Syndrome</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>     There are three types of Down Syndrome, the most common being trisomy 21, in which there is an extra 21st chromosome in every cell. <br>     Mosaic DS is when there are two different cell groupings. Some of the cells have the "normal" 46 chromosomes, while other have 47, the extra one being an extra 21st chromosome.<br>     Translocation DS is when just like in trisomy 21, there is an extra 21st chromosome, but it is attached to a different chromosome instead of being alone.<br><br></div>]]></description>
