A study was done that looked over SDG 2. Zero Hunger, and how practical the implementation was within three countries: Nigeria, Brazil, and the Netherlands (Gil, et. al., 2019).

The study found that the targets are not universally applicable for all countries.

Better global databases are needed to monitor progress of this goal

Integrated policies are needed in order to reach this SDG.

Not every country is prioritizing the same targets

This further proves how important this goal is since there are some improvements to be made within the Zero Hunger goal's targets. In other words, there is more work that needs to be done within this goal in order to end hunger by 2030. It is vital for everyone to put attention on this issue, and do their civic duty in meeting this goal.
