Interviewer:" George H W Bush, he was the 41th president of the U.S. he was born in Milton, Massachusetts, and as a kid he didn't really have the dream of becoming a president but as he got older he soon became more and more interested into politics because of his dad. So, lets go talk to former president George H W Bush and ask him a few questions."

Bush: "Hello, good afternoon"

Interviewer: "As well as you. So lets dive into it in your years of presidency one of the first major events that happened was a major oil spill in the Alaska."

Bush: "Yes, you see it was actually called the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill it took place on april, 24 1989, if I can recall. I assigned the Coast Guard admiral Yost to lead the clean up. Aboug 260,000 to 750,000 barrels of oil. In addition about 100,000 to 250,000 sea birds died as well as some shore habitat based animals"

Interviewer: "Wow... you've heard of the 2010 BP oil spill haven't you?

Bush: "Yes."

Interviewer: "If you were president at the time of the BP oil spill what would you do to improve the situation?"

Bush: "I would do just what I did in the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill and try to get some branch of the government involved in the clean up unlike president Obama's method of clean up where the company who made the spill was left to clean up. So instead of getting the job done faster and having the environment safer BP did most of the cleaning which took longer than it would have taken with help.

Interviewer: " Do you understand the situation in Crimea?"

Bush: "Yes I do."

Interviewer: " In your opinion should the United States act on the situation?"

Bush: " Yes, the United states should try and prevent Russia from owning Crimea so Russia doesn't gain strength and even more influence for fear of monopolizing a resource like in the gulf war where Iraq attempted to take Kuwait for their oil.

NAFTA: George HW Bush

George HW Bush originally created the idea of NAFTA. NAFTA is a regulation implemented January 1, 1994 in Mexico, Canada and the United States to eliminate most tariffs on trade between these nations. The three countries phased out numerous tariffs, (with a particular focus on those related to agriculture, textiles and automobiles), between the agreement’s implementation and January 1, 2008. NAFTA’s purpose is to encourage economic activity between the United States, Mexico and Canada. At the time of 1994, President Clinton signed the agreement.

NAFTA created the world's largest free trade area, which now links 450 million people producing $17 trillion worth of goods and services. The NAFTA countries (Canada and Mexico), were the top two purchasers of U.S. exports in 2010. The trade agreement ended tariffs between Mexico, America, and the United States, and set a 15-year timetable for the elimination of most other impediments to international investment and commerce between the three nations.
