         <description><![CDATA[<div>Students will be able to experience a detailed power point presentations on the types of muscles located in the human body. They are also given a link to interactive body maps which creates 'real-world' applications; plus, allows them to explore layers of the human anatomy in 3D. Viewers are also given the chance to paraphrase teacher-selected terms that focus on muscle anomalies. Also, provided are labeled images (guided activity/cheat sheets)&nbsp; of both posterior and anterior muscles. I am excited to see how I may utilize Jigsaw the more comfortable I become with it. I strongly believe that the more interactive the&nbsp; session the better the students will associate learning and apply mastery of standards. Students should learn from each pane using differentiation and rigor in each asset provided. I think the flow of this lesson can go well and students would have notes for reinforcement of knowledge with expectations of all students mastering muscle anatomy comprehension.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Going to Class Reflection: 102 (Panes 1 &amp; 2)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Pane 1: I selected a teacher-lead introduction to muscles video indicating an essential question, standards and student learning outcomes. I was torn and would have enjoyed showing a muscle creme commercial. Being able to integrate videos and webcam opportunities is an effective learning tool that reinforces and reiterates the significance of the lesson.<br>Pane 2: I selected a detailed power point presentation on muscles that will capture multiple, rigorous learning capacities. I also have a plethora of notes pertaining to muscles that can be added to this pane as well. Pane 2 dictates the majority of my instructional pacing with the use of the power point presentation lecture.<br><br>Prior to the session the use of Panes 1 (Warm-up/activating strategy) &amp; 2 (Lesson Hook and Mini Lesson) assist as a paradigm for an anticipatory set of aspects pertaining to the lesson. Then pane 2 acts as both the mini lesson into a guided practice.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Panes 3 (independent practice) leads the students into the use of applying new knowledge in effort to influence mastery. Images are great to . Also, the survey aspect is awesome and allows me to create summative evaluations in an effort to survey student learning. Pane 4 (Summary of Learning/Closing) allows the teacher to connect and organize content to practice outside the lesson. I selected a picture that can be labeled; however, I also have links to interactive,3-dimensional human body maps.<br>Prior to the lesson, Panes 3 and 4 assist the instructor in making the lesson applicable to daily life patterns. As well as bring closure to the session.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Setting Up for Success: Reflection 101</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The 5 assets selected are significant because they will give the students a rigorous opportunity to explore details about the muscles of the human body. The assets selected will give students a robust comprehension of each anatomical structure examined. After the lecture students should be able to, identify 3 types of muscles, palpate and spell up to 10 anterior and 10 posterior muscles as well as their illustrate the locations. <br><br>Quick movie clips, a shocking video pertaining to muscle soreness, a short teacher cast introducing the Unit, topic, standards and learning outcomes are great ways to capture learners potential towards mastering the standards. Each Asset is connected to the lesson and must capture the learners attention right away. Students with multiple intelligence like to see applicable/tangible, hear the instructor make the topic more interesting. Videos and the use of webcams allow the lessons to live and more students are able to apply their own since of value in the lesson as opposed to reading instructions. The videos and use of webcam gives stakeholders the opportunity to see applicable subject-matter integration: (ie. interview of: Biology majors, Physical Educators, Athletic Trainer, Orthopedic Specialist, et. al.); a shocking clip of a muscle injury; or a teacher's video introducing the lesson-are great assets. When I utilize the teacher videos that introduce the lesson it helps the virtual students see that their instructor is real and values the lesson. Prior to the session, the video asset prepares the host for pacing the lesson as well as aids visual, kinesthetic and auditor learners.</div>]]></description>
