Review
     The Dark Tide is definitely one of my favourite books, and it's one I'm not going to forget.
     The world building in this novel is one of the best I've seen, as well as character development. There was never a boring chapter and I always wanted to continue reading. 
     I had stopped reading for a while and the Dark Tide is my second book I've read since starting again. A few weeks later, I'm still helping out. We cleaned up Greenfields, and we cleaned up outside Supervalue. 1. Thor Ragnarok - It is a change of style compared to the past Thor movies. It brings in more Comedy and new twists. 

2. Doctor Strange - I might be slightly biased when it comes to Doctor Strange. As a fan of the BBC Sherlock, hearing that Benedict Cumberbatch was going to be playing Doctor strange, definitely made me like that character from the beginning.

3.  Spiderman Homecoming - After being lightly introduced to the new Spiderman in Avengers Civil War, we final got a Spiderman movie within the MCU.

4. Avengers Endgame - I can't say much without spoiling so I won't.
 
5. EYP is exactly what it sounds like, European Youth parliament. We were assigned teams depending on what topic you were interested in, we made points and ideas on how to help or solve certain issues. At the end of the week we had a General Assembly (GA). In the GA each team got to speak and put forward an idea or resolution, the other members of the GA would then vote. I believe only one resolution didn't pass.
     I was under CULT, we were in charge of minority languages and the rate of which they are being lost.      I received an email out of the blue from someone who I had done a course with previously, saying that she was running another workshop over the course of 5 weeks. After enjoying the last one (which was about 2-3 years ago) I decided that I would sign up. 
     We learned many different techniques to practice writing. I came across the workshop on a website called 'Outschool' which is brilliant, and has thousands of online workshops. 
     We learned about self-publishing as a teenager/young adult and the easiest and best ways to that. It is surprisingly easy to publish your first very own book using Amazon, with little to no starting expense. Amazon just takes 15% of the sale, and they will print and ship it. I was amazed at how doable it sounds.
