I dog sat for many years for friends and family, but never thought I could make it a career until recently! If you know me, you know that I am OBSESSED with Chandler and Joey, they are my whole world! Animals in my care are treated as if they are my own, and I have many references to attest to that.

My name is Teresa Sanchez and I founded Yo Bark Boarding, DBA (CJ Central LLC) in the Fall of 2022. (Formerly Central Bark Boarding-name change occurred June 2023). My dogs, Chandler (Bichon/Shih Tzu) and Joey (Mini Poodle), are the inspiration behind it all!

From 2015-2022 I was a teacher in Youngstown City, but as of recently I consider myself to be "retired!" Knowing that teaching was no longer my passion, I left the field at the end of the 2022 school year, and have no intention nor desire to return. I graduated from YSU in 2015 with a degree in Early Childhood Education, and again in 2020 with a Masters in Literacy.

My ultimate goal was to have the ability to spend more time at home with Chandler and Joey, a flexible schedule, and still be able to provide for our little family. I went back into the restaurant industry as a server (PLEASE TIP YOUR SERVERS!!!) until I was able to figure it all out... and I no longer work as a server seeing as Yo Bark Boarding has become my full time job!!

I purchased my home in Struthers, Ohio in the Spring of 2019, and brought Chandler into my home immediately after. In the Fall of 2020, I took in my second child-Joey.

Upon leaving Education, not only did my career change, but also my life as a whole. I left education in July of 2022, started this business officially at the end of August 2022, and met the love of my life, Joel, a few DAYS later in September of 2022. He has been with me through the entire start up, the ups and downs, and overall success of this business venture. In October of 2025, Joel was able to leave his full time job to join me in working full time for Yo Bark Boarding. We are loving this new adventure together and the life we are building!

Yo Bark Boarding is now my full time job! I offer many pet services and am willing to travel far if needed. Rates are based on location/distance from my home in Struthers, and number of pets. I offer boarding in my home, but it is limited to a first come first serve basis for dates. I am always available to travel to client's homes.
