Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram was the seventh incarnation of Shri Hari Vishnu's ten incarnations. Lord Shri Ram, the lord of twelve arts, was born to present an ideal for public welfare and human beings. Shri Ram is counted among the greatest deities of Hinduism. He is considered an idol of compassion, sacrifice and dedication. He has presented the best example of humility, dignity, patience and might in front of the world.

इस श्लोक में मिलता है अर्थ

तैत्तरीय आरण्यक नामक ग्रंथ में दिए गए एक श्लोक के अनुसार, राम शब्द का अर्थ होता है पुत्र राम। वहीं, ब्रह्मण संहिता में कहा गया है कि राम नाम का अर्थ है - जो सभी जगह राम हुआ है। आप इस बात का वर्णन इस श्लोक में देख सकते हैं - 'रमन्ते सर्वत्र इति रामः।'

राम नाम की महिमा

शास्त्रों में ऐसे कई श्लोक मिलते हैं, जिसमें राम नाम के अर्थ और महिमा का वर्णन किया गया है। शास्त्रों में निहित एक श्लोक के अनुसार, “रमन्ते योगिनः अस्मिन सा रामं उच्यते”। जिसका अर्थ है कि योगी ध्यान में जिस शून्य में रमते हैं उसे राम कहते हैं।

Rama is characterised by his unwavering devotion, courage, and adherence to moral principles, making him a symbol of virtue and righteousness in Hinduism.

Lord Rama is often portrayed as a compassionate and just ruler who, alongside his devoted wife Sita, faced numerous trials during their exile. His legendary bow-breaking feat, his alliance with Hanuman, and the eventual triumph over the demon king Ravana showcase his divine qualities and commitment to upholding cosmic order. Rama's story serves as a moral and spiritual guide, emphasizing duty, loyalty, and the triumph of good over evil in the Hindu tradition.

I bow down again and again to the beloved and beautiful Lord Ram of this world, who removes all calamities and bestows happiness and wealth. I worship Ram, Rambhadra, Ramchandra, Vidhat Swaroop, Raghunath, Prabhu and Sitaji's lord.

The character of Ram has instilled Values so deeply, in the psyche of generations after generations that character of Ram continues to inspire even today:

In our professional life, the magnitude of success doesn’t depend on the quantum of achievement but the environment / circumstances encountered to achieve it.

He who cannot understand and learn from one’s own, can learn little from others and cannot be of any help to a larger community.

We must forever strive to demonstrate highest standards of ethics, excellence and fairness, that gives a meaning to our life and inspire others to emulate, as a result leaving this world a much better place than before.

In order to establish Ram Rajya ( happy place) we need to be inclusive, willing to learn from diversity, and take care of /encounter the interests of all stakeholders.

Lord Rama's dignity and dutifulness are infinite. His epitomes are marked on our culture, compassion and virtue. His character as the ideal Son, ideal Disciple, perfect Brother, excellent friend, ideal fighter and ideal king has been attracting mankind from age to age. Even today the paragon of governance is Ram Rajya.

The meaning of the life of Lord Ram is only one word, and that is 'duty'. He always considered duty as the root of life. Fourteen years of exile were passed for performing duty and sacrificing his wife Sita on the dusty path to his life. Younger brother Laxman, who was a companion of happiness and sorrow, did not be tempted to separate himself from him. Never let love fall in the path of duty to anyone. It is their dutifulness that the whole of 'Bharat chants their name and considers their existence to be sacred. It was this dutifulness that lifted them from humans and brought them to par with the gods. He is considered adorable and an incarnation of God. His life teaches us that it is very difficult to walk on the path of duty. But only by the proper performance of duties, we can become dignified men.

"Whoever is the source of the entire creation, whose existence is the support of all beings, who does not have a beginning, middle, or end, to that Yogic wisdom is applied."

Lord Rama's life has inspired countless devotees and serves as a timeless beacon of moral conduct, selfless duty, and the triumph of good over evil. His teachings, captured in the Ramayana, continue to guide individuals on the path of righteousness and devotion in various spiritual traditions.

Lord Shri Ram is very kind. He took everyone under his umbrella with kindness. Gave everyone the opportunity and right to lead. He has deep affection and compassion towards the mere creature. He never expressed anger, greed, scepticism or doubt towards weak and innocent beings. With this kindness, he gave Sugriva his kingdom. He also had pity for Manthara who conspired for exile. So when Shatrughna returned from Nanihal to Ayodhya, he got angry at Manthara and started dragging him to the ground, Bharat says, if Shri Ram got aware of misbehaviour with this Kubja, then he would not talk to both of us. This was Shri Ram's kindness.
