JazakAllah khair for a great session. The topics were well suited for younger audience in their search for spouse. If we can have a similar session for audience in their 30s 40s or 50s who are converts, divorced or never married and help them navigate the process of islamic marriage landscape it will be very helpful InshAllah.

Steps Towards Marriage

Jazak Allah kheir for the great class sheikh. I enjoyed every minute of today and have learned a tremendous amount about myself and what the Deen asks of us when it comes to marriage. However, I find it very odd that we had a room full of single people Mashallah who are all looking to get married with no clear assistance or direction on how to interact with each other during events like these and I'm wondering why? We're listening to you give advice to singles and talk about how what we need to do in order to find the right spouse, including the challenges that come with doing so, however here we are with a room full of singles and do not proactively put together any types of activities for them to have the opportunity to get to know one another. I think it is just as, if not even more important for us to promote conversing with the opposite gender during events like these in order to establish future Islamic households within our communities. Young people are frustrated and turning to dating apps and websites to search for spouses when Alhamdulilah we have wonderful single brothers and sisters physically present at events like these that do not get the support needed to establish meaningful connections. Let's change that inshallah.
Jazakallah khair,
A concerned member of the community

Communication with parents (ones own) and how to approach parents in general has been one of the hardest battle our generation has been facing. A lot of the girls struggle to have a normal conversation and without things escalating and I wish we had a longer session on parents and approach

I very much loved the session and It was definitely a learning and a wake up call.
