A tessellation to me is a pattern of design that just repeats itself to capture the viewers eye and emphasize the desired part of a photo. To make a tessellation I had to take a photo and crop it to desired size that wold fit the desired format, like for a 8x8 it would have to be a 4x4 and so on. Then I would just make a copy of that layer and move it to the next section, also reflecting it. I did this multiple times and I achieved the desired look. The last thing to do was to merge all the visible layers.
The thing I liked about this was how the colors in each tessellation had really worked with eachother. My favorite picture would be the the picture where the flowers almost look like a circle or a crown. I really struggled with the white lines that kept showing up on the photographs. If I had to do it again I would probably reflect the images differently so that it looks better.
