They would be called groups, clans, they were all called "allyus". A allyu is the foundation or the society of the Incans. Each one of their allyu had their own farmland.  The people of the allyu made crops and had produced some of their goods. The citizens of allyu were in authority of the curacas. The curacas had to make sure that the allyus paid their taxes. Children of most of their families did not have education. They just learned the skill they needed to know from their elders. The sons of nobles had tutors, or amautas.

They believed in a lot of different types of gods, they all were gods of nature though. The Incans believe that their is a spirits that dwelled in certain places or even objects. The things are called "huacas". The very important temples were the ones for Inti. Just like the Aztecs and the Maya, the Incans also sacrifice things for their gods. There were also some times where there were chosen women and they were sacrificed. They did not only practice sacrifices and rituals. The priests also had practiced divination, that is the art of telling the future. There were some girls who were the chosen ones and they get to go live in a convent.
