Do correction after Mr Iskandar check the quotations. The best value will be choosen by Mr Iskandar whether from Etiqa nor Takaful Ikhlas product. 

After Mr Iskandar choose either Etiqa or Takaful Ikhlas that need to give to the customer, some correction need to do if got any mistakes. For example, about the insurance date. The quotation date need to do as same as past date.

Insurance dates cannot overlap. If the insurance payment date exceeds the expiration date, then the date that needs to be made in the quotation is the latest date.

Learnt that for new customers who want to do their insurance for the first time with our company all the details we need are such as their car or motorcycle grant, road tax, insurance expired date, and IC or passport.

However, I also get learnt that for customer who take comprehensive and private car comprehensive plus for their insurance coverage, they must get benefit for auto assists. Auto assist is about services for the customers for towing or breakdown assistance. Maximum distance auto assist for Takaful Ikhlas  can tow the car is as far as 100KM meanwhile for Etiqa maximum distance is as far as 200KM.

Other than that is about personal liability. It is for travel insurance. It will covered when an accident that happen in foreign country while customers going for travel in that country. It is important to persuade customers to take this cover before they go for traveling in foreign country.

I learnt how to apply for partial withdrawal from the company for the client. In this assessment I need to make sure all detail about the customer should be accurate before key in all the data in partial withdrawal form. After that I need to sent the form to company for proceed the partial withdrawal processes.

Other than that, I learnt how to calculate profit for agent and subagent for motor takaful after customer made a payment.

At the same day, I also generating cover note when the travel agency already make their payment to our company. I need to make sure their policy number must be correct and the amount should be exactly same with payment summary before. The policy need to sent to travel agency as their evidence that their customer already take travel insurance. So it will avoid any issues when their customer want to claim.

I need to do mailing list in Gmail. I need to engage clients in order to sustain the business. Total list contacts of clients is 280 persons. I need to key in all the contacts from excel to Gmail contacts. From this task I learnt that to sustain our business we need to take care our client. We need to make sure our company still keep in contact with all clients. 

Another thing I learnt today is, for foreigner customer who want to take travel insurance only can do with Z-Travel (Zurich). For Takaful Ikhlas the company not cover foreigner who travel in Malaysia and the foreigner client need to apply their travel insurance in their origin country.

I learned that if the vehicle involved in an accident has expired insurance, the customer cannot apply to renew the insurance for claim purposes. So the customer needs to ask for compensation from the offender. After repairing the vehicle, the customer can renew the new insurance. The lesson here is that to avoid unwanted things, car insurance must be renewed immediately after the expiration date.

I also learnt that, when the customer requests a takaful statement according to the new address, the company can only provide a takaful statement with the old address. This is because takaful was previously recorded according to the old address. In addition, the takaful statement will also be given to the customer in the form of a letter or the customer can get it on the Online Customer Account (OCA) website.

In addition, for Motor Takaful highly recommend customers to purchase Motorist PA for the additional cover because with Motorist PA customers will get benefits such as cover driver after got accident and get unlimited distance (KM) for auto assist services.

Discussion with colleagues about the best suggestions for travel takaful for trip 3 days and 2 nights to Aceh and Port Klang to  Singapore. The discussion about how to give customer with the best value of travel insurance with higher benefit without need to pay the higher price. In this discussion we need to compare with three product which are Etiqa Takaful, Ikhlas Takaful, and Zurich Takaful.

 I have face with wrong detail on customer policy or cover note for motor takaful which is about the sum covered not same as in quotation before. In that cover note the sum covered for the vehicle is agreed value but after generate the cover note it state as market value. So I need to do endorsement to change the sum covered from market value to agreed value by email to TIB company.

I also generate quotation for travel insurance for 14 pax in etiqa tripcare360 products trip to Turkey on 23 May until 31 May 2023. After that I also need to do summary payments  and sent together with the 14 quotations to the agency travel by email to make it easier for them to make payments with the correct amount.

After justifying that the details given by the agent are accurate in the company's system, the company will contact the customer.

Discussion about SMART Goals. SMART Goals need to applied in our project in extending our company services with other travel agency by providing the best value of travel insurance for their customers. From SMART Goals I learnt that to get more we need to give more. For example, to get 10 company travel agency I need to contact with 20 travel agency. 

Today, it is the first experience for me in contact with large tourism companies to further extend our company's services. At the first place I get a little nervous but after keep calling I be more confident in explaining about our company products and services.

Receive a notice from the Takaful Ikhlas company that there are new changes in making renewals for vehicles that have expired for 30 days and above, which are:

1. Renewal case lapsed for less and more than 30 days need to prepare Letter Of Undertaking (LOU) only.
2. Renewal case lapsed more than 30 days need to prepare LOU and give vehicle photo. 
3. New case no matter how many days need to prepare LOU and photo of the vehicle.

• Then I need to informed to customer who have expired vehicle insurance to make renewal less than 14 days after expired the date to facilitate their affairs in making vehicle renewals without having to provide LOU and vehicle photos. This is also to avoid from taking a long time from HQ to renew the expired vehicle insurance.
• I generate cover note for vehicle which expired on 08 June 2023 after received the payment from customer for the vehicle's insurance renewal.

Today I continued the assignment about the mosque project. Based on the list of Gombak mosques that have been made during the day, I need to identify mosques that have high potential that require insurance for the mosque. For example, a mosque that has a large capacity and has several prayer hall under the mosque. I started generating quotes for motor takaful for July 2023. It is important to do so because I need to remind customers about their expiry date in June according to the new insurance price shown in the system.

I prepared all the quotations for the July 2023 renewal and submitted all the documents to Mr. Iskandar for review.  I was able to prepare all the documents with the new quotation before entering the month of July, which is the time it should have been prepared to facilitate reminders to customers.

This quotation inquiry was supposed to be made on the 10th of the month, but due to my carelessness the quotation inquiry was delayed until the 26th of the month. I tried to prepare immediately and gave to Mr. Iskandar as a reference Mr. Iskandar about the payment made in May. Before submitting the quotation inquiry and payment history, I need to ensure that the amount paid in the cover note inquiry is the same as the amount of net premium in the payment history. Other than that, the cover note that has been generated must also be the same as the payment.

Today I am sending a reminder to vehicles that have expired on 26 June 2023. This is to ensure that customers do not overlook to renew immediately. Vehicles that are driven without insurance are at great risk in the event of an accident. When an accident occurs without insurance, the vehicle cannot receive any compensation and cannot make any claim.

I also check the status of the road tax delivery to ensure that the road tax has reached the customer safely.

Check the status of vehicles that have expired but have not renewed insurance at i-search info to find out whether the vehicle is still inactive or has been active. If the vehicle is not yet active, I need to remind the customer immediately to renew. If the vehicle is already active then the customer has dealt with another company.

I also provide comparison of auto assist with Takaful Ikhlas, Takaful Etiqa and Takaful Zurich. This makes it easier for us to see the benefits of each company and as a reference to provide information to customers.

Providing a quotation for a new vehicle whose insurance period has expired on 30 March 2023. After the price option is given to the customer and the price has been agreed upon, the customer makes a payment for renewing the vehicle's insurance. So after receiving the payment from the customer, I continue to generate a cover note for the vehicle. Before proceeding to generate the cover note, the car needs to be checked by HQ because it is a lapsed vehicle. After being approved by HQ, the generate cover note business went on as usual and the insurance renewal for the vehicle went smoothly.

Modify quotation according to customer request. There is a vehicle that will expire on 20 July 2023 that wants to reduce the sum covered according to the market price but the system has set the appropriate amount. To solve these issues, I tried to make a quotation using another product, namely Zurich Takaful. Last but not least, the requested price can be lowered according to the customer's request but the fee charged is quite high compared to the quotation given before. After that, I give the two quotations to the customer to make a comparison. Finally the customer agreed to make a renewal based on the price I first offered before. After the customer agreed to pay the value, I renewed the insurance after receiving the payment from him.
