- Coraline starts to appreciate her parents after she saw how awful her other mother and father were.
- Coraline has realised that she has taken her mother for granted. Later on in the story she realises how important her family is. ‘ Then she hugged her mother, so tightly that her arms began to ache ’
- She used to hate what her father used made but because she missed her father so much in the other world. She actually decided to eat her fathers creation/invention.

    • lucky for coraline she realises that this too good to be true and when things like that happened, she came to her senses and realised it was a creation and a figment of her imagination
