David Bailey was a hero in the brain tumor community (a friend though, not a client). His remarkable survival story, inspirational songwriting, and vocal stylings evoking Cat Stevens and Jim Croce deserve to be widely known. His song "One More Day" became an anthem—and daily listening—for thousands of people living with cancer around the world.

Shannon / Anaplastic Oligodendroglioma III (survived 18 years)

After 23 yrs surviving GBM (including a recurrence in 1998 and also a Breast Cancer diagnosis in 2004), Jeanne's friend Cheryl passed in Oct 2020 during the covid pandemic. A brain MRI taken the month before was clear: she was still brain tumor free. She was a remarkable survivor who touched the lives of many of our clients with her amazing story and indomitable spirit.

Greetings!!! I am writing to share super wonderful news...yesterday Patrick had an MRI at Columbia and...his tumor has shrunk 70%, that’s right, 70% since last scan on March 7th!!!!! We are soooo over the moon joyful and grateful...simply miraculous progress...& you guys are a big part of the “recipe” for success he is experiencing and I want to thank you with all my heart...Patrick of course, does too, along with all our family and all those on #teampatrick!!!! Dr. Iwamoto is so so pleased...this is so very very encouraging and beautiful and fantastic and I am experiencing a level of relief and optimism for the future that I have not known since his diagnosis on November 26th...the road ahead is still loaded with challenges but we are ready to rock whatever may come along...move through it and forge ahead with the help of all his phenomenal providers,including you guys, for whom we are so grateful...please know how much the great work you do impacts the world in such a wonderful way...you should be so very proud...
