         <title>Third graders often have difficulty in identifying the correct summary of a story on the STAAR Reading Test.  One could read a story aloud and have them draw pictures that show the important events that occurred in the story (using 4 to 8 squares) Discuss/help them to develop judgement about what would be important to include.</title>
