When teacher apply authentic assessment to student learning, teacher should have criteria to judge the work of student. Then student can demonstrate what they learn, because of the performance skills they learn in past.

REFLECTION
1. How grades do motivates and/or demotivates students?

Grades is just a number for some but to others is not a number only, it is a successful for their hard working to do all. Because of the grades students will motivating more to do their best as they can do it. And if you’re give a passing grades it is a effective way to motivate your students .

And I think of students will giving a failing grades will demotivates, because they feel their work is not enough to pass and that is the reason why students will not do anymore the thinks that their doing not good for teacher.

2. As students of higher educational institution, do you agree on the “pass all policy” of some colleges and universities in times of pandemic? Why?

Yes, I agree because right now were in a crisis that no one will know how it longer, so all of your students need to pass all activities on time your giving to them, but you think some of them have an gadgets to do that. Yes, we have smartphone but it’s not easy do to all activities their, and you think to all students have internet access no we don’t have that, we must need a load to pass all activities.

3. If you are going to design your own grading system, how will you do it?

I will make a rubrics that all chapters indicates and I would insert the percent of grading in every topic.

4. Which do you prefer as reference for grading system, Norm – reference or criterion – reference? Why?

I prefer as Norm – reference because you will grading them based on their performance relative to the class.

5. Do you agree that elementary students should be given a traditional letter mark rather they should be graded based on checklist?

             No
