My team saw that there were a lot of stores in our town failing alcohol compliance checks. So, the team bought some ID card readers for the stores.

This is related to overdose prevention more than substance use prevention, but we have an overdose prevention project evaluator who has helped us drill down on which populations are disproportionately impacted by overdoses, which we take into consideration for our targeted naloxone saturation efforts.

Our grant applications are always based on data reported by the SEOW. As a result, target populations are always driven by subpops identified to be most at risk in our community. Additionally, our program eval also uses our population data as baseline, so that our program aims to impact community-wide concerns.

We are trying to get more "real-time, dirty data" for opioid overdoses. We're looking at ODMAP, but most first responders aren't reporting even if they have an account. We're working on identifying barriers.
