A: My COVID experience has been odd. Quarantine days weren't that bad, as we stayed inside and kept safe. Catching the virus definitely put into perspective how hard it must have been for people before vaccinations. Quarantine is harsh, but after you get into it, it's not that bad. Having the coronavirus is a completely different story, though. Covid was absolutely brutal, and it changed my outlook on the whole situation. I appreciate how lucky I was to have not caught it when I was unvaccinated.
Q: How was your experience with the vaccine?
A:  My vaccination experience was the same experience I get when I receive a flu shot, I was completely fine. It's been revealed that some people got sick from the vaccine, but I felt fine. I'm extremely grateful we have the vaccines, or our experiences with the virus could've been even worse.

A: My experience with COVID and quarantine wasn't that bad. Of course, when I caught the virus it wasn't fun, but I didn't feel bad at all, probably cause I'm vaccinated. During quarantine, I looked on the bright side of things. I exercised a lot and biked with Gavin. 
Q: How did you feel about the vaccine rollout? 
A: I'm incredibly happy we have the vaccine. As a healthcare provider, I'm a huge advocate.   It's astonishing how different my life has been since the pandemic first started. I used to freely walk around my school campus, but after COVID, I wear a mask almost everywhere. In addition, If I'm too close to someone, they'll be incredibly rude about it. COVID guidelines have been engraved in people's minds, and we're still living in a six-feet apart world. American Heritage changed during the events of COVID, as well. The school has implemented sanitation methods everywhere. Hand sanitizer stations have been planted all over the campus, and hourly hallway cleanings never seem to stop. Secretly, I'm hoping even after the last remains of COVID disappear, they keep the cleanliness going. My family has changed significantly after COVID, as well. We wear masks almost everywhere, and we're so worried about catching the virus or one of its ever-growing variants. Truthfully, when I think about how the virus impacted me and my surroundings, I'm reminded of how much worse it is for others. The world went into a fray for an entire year, and the aftermath is so shocking. The economy was completely unstable as COVID-19 led to the loss of many lives and jobs. When I think about how much the people in our world suffered, I'm truly grateful for the position I'm in.   Due to COVID, my family had to cancel numerous amounts of events we had been previously looking forward to. For instance, I had to cancel my visit to see my grandparents in Johnson City, Tennessee. Thanks to COVID, it was nearly impossible for me to see my grandparents, as keeping them safe was our number one priority. Due to the virus, I lost out on quality time with them, which will always break my heart. My family also had plans to host a Bar-Mitzvah party for me in August of 2020, but we were unable to. Fortunately,  I was still able to do my Bar-Mitzvah service, which I'm incredibly grateful for. Furthermore, my mom & I usually take an annual trip to SuperCon Florida every year, but due to the virus, it was canceled. In addition, My family has been wanting to revisit Europe, but our plans have been continuously interrupted by outside variables such as the virus. The pandemic greatly influenced the plans my family had made, however, I'd much rather have a few fun events canceled, and be safe than had taken life-risking trips.
