In this chapter, Michelle was told by her uncle that her father had been shot, which was all news to her. She talks about the struggle of trying to uncover what really happened in the shooting incident with her father. She meets with many different people, learning that some have more difficulty opening up to her than others. This only leaves her more eager and curious, wanting to ask more questions.
