         <description><![CDATA[<div>Your learning journey for History continues here.<br><br><strong>Curriculum Intent<br><br>‘The more you know about the past, the better prepared you are for the future.’ Roosevelt</strong> <br> <br><strong>Here at Kingsway Park High School, </strong>we study History in order to give you knowledge and understanding of cultures, conflicts, locations and ethnicities from the past.<br><br>We look at causes and consequences of key events both in Britain and around the world, and explore changes and continuities over vast time frames.<br><br>At <strong>Kingsway Park, </strong>we explore a wide range of primary and secondary sources to give you an insight into what life was like in the past. We study a range of different sources in order for you to gain a well-rounded representation of both medieval and modern History.<br><br>We aim to ensure you will be able to make a judgement on the importance and impact of all the topics we have studied and that you can confidently use historical terminology in everyday conversation. At <strong>Kingsway Park, </strong>we strive relentlessly to ensure you have access to high quality resources, exceptional teaching and a love of history in every lesson.<br><br>Our overall aim is to ensure that <strong>Kingsway Park </strong>students have the ability to become great historians and are equipped with the skills to fully understand how history has shaped the world we live in today. <br><br></div>]]></description>
