It helps to track growth individually as well as the whole class percentage that goes into our own learning goals for the class and third grade. MAPS testing is a norm-referenced test that measures student performance on a RIT score and a Percentile as far as a national norm. It compares students across districts and the country. Students that score below 40th percentile are considered At-RIsk and usually will then be progress monitored in small groups throughout the semester for student growth and development.
