2) The children can hide the rocks outside for others to find. Each kid will hide their own, ask the children to around the playground to search for any rock. The kid with the most rocks win!

3) Get the ECE to hide the rocks around the playground, have the children find their own, the rock that they painted. First kid to find theirs, win.

2. What would you do outdoors with children?

   Print out copies of what the children will be looking out for during the scavenger hunt, have them dress up warm, talk to them about what we’ll be doing on our walk, and to have them focus and listening.

3. What additional activity could you connect to the topic and why?

   Us teachers, will talk to the children about what each picture on the scavenger hunt means and what they do for our community.

2) What would you do outdoors with children?

Tell them to put on their outdoor clothing once that’s completed tell them that were gunna go on a short walk but before we head out tell them to look out for rocks, flowers and leafs once they found one of these they can keep it in their pockets or carry onto it until we get back to the daycare once getting back to the daycare they can paint or make a stamp out of the flowers or sticks

3) What additional activity could you connect to the topic and why?

Maybe have the children paint the rocks if they picked a rock and for the flowers and sticks we can make them into a stamp and before doing this we can talk with them and tell them that we are making arts and crafts from nature and we can maybe make the homemade paint for this activity

   Choosing and picking up rocks from outside to paint their rocks and crate any way they want to paint it like doing a rainbow colors.

2. What would you do for outdoors with children?

   I would get the children to gather around me on the ground and choose their favourite rocks and I can let them know we will be painting them any colour s they would like it.

3. What additional activity could you connect to the TOPIC? WHY?

   I would connect the topic by letting the children know that we are painting these beautiful rocks and because we can do any kind of shapes and knowing that we can do all the shapes of rocks like small or big.

Once their dry ask the other teacher to hide them in the classroom, gets them moving around looking for the rocks

Outdoor scavenger hunt

2) what would you do outdoors with the children?

For the scavenger hunt, I would ask the children to find a big, medium and small rock they would like to paint.

3) what additional activity could you connect to the topic? Why?

Additional activity, I would ask if they would like to pick flowers or leafs to add to their painting.

I would firstly fill up buckets of water and I would add different colours of food dye, grab big a big sheet of paper and hang it up on our fence. I would then get the children ready to go outside and have them grab a water gun. We would then paint the big sheet of paper all sorts of different colours.

Myself and the other teachers would ask the children what colours they’re using? What their painting or if they liked the activity.

I would then get a picture as a group to show off our hard work.
