I loved reading about how positive emotions can boost our immune system by boosting the production and effectiveness of our (B&T) immune cells. Meanwhile, negative emotions can impede with the production and/or function of our T-cells, leukocytes, NK cells.

I saw this video in Pathophysiology or Microbiology and was happy to be able to track it down in our beautiful handy web. Hit play to watch it! We need these nifty little creatures to keep up healthy, so let's keep them alive with those positive vibes!

I was born and raised in a cult. We never went to Drs, because we had the Greatest Dr in the Universe. We laid hands on each other and prayed on the rare occasion someone would get sick. I do believe there is incredible healing power we can all access by just believing.

Meanwhile, negative beliefs, emotions, and words can drag us down, suppress our immunity, and make/keep us ill. Negative experiences happen, but shifting focus can help overcome anything we experience. It's 10% what happens and 90% what we focus on. How important it is to choose our thoughts wisely.

I have been listening more to my mental babble. My biggest pet peeve is the thought of being judged or rejected. Through bringing awareness to my mental babble, I often catch my inner judge. I see it like a midget, marching around with a gavel, just ready to tell people off. Any of them. All of them who want to judge me. Oh, the irony! lol

I feel most free and alive when I dance. I am always singing and humming, and I harmonize when others sing, but I need to dance again. Music is a beautiful gift that can bring us fully in the moment. As a kid, I performed to raise money for my family and sometimes for the cult I was in. As an adult I taught Zumba and Hip Hop Hustle. I love seeing people come alive when they hear music and let it move them physically, emotionaly, or both.
