Studnets will create their own quadratic equation word problem. This will consist of thinking of an object or scenario in which something follows a parabolic path (like a baseball thrown in the air). They will create an image of their object either by drawing or on the computer. They will solve the quadratic equation that represents their word problem using all three methods (graphing, factoring, and quadratic formula). Students will also Identify the vertex of the parabola representing height of the object.
