         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>ADHD</strong> is a chronic condition marked by persistent inattention, hyperactivity, and sometimes impulsivity. <strong>ADHD</strong> begins in childhood and often lasts into adulthood. As many as 2 out of every 3 children with <strong>ADHD</strong> continue to have symptoms as adults.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Hyperactivity</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>When a student experiences hyperactivity in the classroom they often cannot sit still and their body is in constant movement.&nbsp; These students are trying to drain their energy such as finger tapping or balancing on the legs of their seats.&nbsp; This often helps the student to focus more because their energy is being directed and drained.&nbsp; <br><br><strong>Sofia experiences hyperactivity in the forms of:</strong></div><ul><li>Fidgets and squirms</li><li>Gets out of chair when not supposed to</li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Attention affects those with ADHD because is conncected to the person's short term memory.&nbsp; Those with ADHD have in attention which means they attend to everything.&nbsp; Imagine being in a classroom trying to listen to a lesson and be attending to noises, movement, colors, expressions and thoughts.&nbsp; <br><br><strong>Sofia's in-attention includes:</strong></div><ul><li>Doesn’t pay close attention to details</li><li>Can't stay focused on play or schoolwork</li><li>Doesn’t follow through on instructions or finish school work or chores</li><li>Can't seem to organize tasks and activities</li><li>Gets distracted easily</li></ul>]]></description>

         <title>Sofia</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Sofia is in elementary school in the 4th grade.  She is 10 years old and was diagnosed with ADHD in the 2nd grade. In kindergarten Sofia had difficulty staying seated and being focused for short periods of time. In first grade Sofia was referred to an SAT in her school to provide her with additional assistance. </div><div><br></div>]]></description>
