As this is a time where African Americans were looked down to. The obstacle of Walter is getting the money that he needs. And there is no way the family has that type of money. The strength of Walter is he is a man with a plan. He knows when to make a plan when the opportunity is in front of him. He is also a strong man.  My prediction is that I do not think his dream will not come true. Due to the fact the money is limited and the time period does not help his case. His dream is realistic because there is hope for him. If the family can support him and Mama buys the home he can holy achieve his dream peacefully. His main obstacle is his skin color. Even though later on it will be a fight for equal rights the 1950s were brutal for African Americans. As his strengths is that he is young and anything is possible. I think he will achieve his dream because the others will already have there dreams actually become true.
