Today I learnt that when you code you have to test your code over and over again so that way it doesn't get bugs in it. Another thing that I learnt was that to make a spirit talk you have to move a block and type in what you want to say, and it is very important to type in how many seconds it should go for. I also learnt that if you want to sprites on your page you have to put a code in each one because it doesn't automatically copy and paste the code you made with the other spirit.

Today Mrs Moore came in to teach us about Scratch. Today I learnt how to add different sounds for different sprites. I also learnt that when you are coding you always have to check over your work and you don't always have to put the blocks into the code straight away. I also learnt what a variable is, a variable is a part of your project that allows you to see a certain part of your project.

Today I learnt that you need to put the blocks for Scratch in a way that makes sense. I also learnt how to use all the blocks in the correct way, for example : if I put if answer is higher than number say lower. The third thing I learnt is that you can't just copy and paste the actions that you made for one sprite to another sprite, you have to double click and duplicate.

I learnt how to make your sprite say something, I made my sprite say whats my number.
I learnt how to change your sprite to a google image, I did it by going into the costume part and uploading a photo from drive.
Another thing I learnt was changing the sounds, I did it by going into the sound part and picking my own choice of a sound.

Today during the 'Digital Technologies Incursion' with Mrs Moore, I learnt how to make customisation's to a sprite character, like how to draw on them or change the sprite completely. I also learnt how to create cool gradients to add to a background. Finally I learnt how to create a variables by using the data button on scratch.

Today we learnt about coding on Scratch. Three things I learnt are, what a variable is, how to use a variable and how to make a game using scratch.
I enjoyed changing my sprites colours, adding cool sounds and actually playing and testing out the game, the game was called Guess my Number, in it we had to try and guess the number the sprite had picked, the number had to be inbetween 1 and 50.

Today I learnt what a variable is on scratch because last year when we did coding with scratch I did not know what the blocks actually meant I just put the block down. I also learnt how to use the sound block and make it do a lot more sounds because scratch added more sounds and I forgot how to use it from last year. Another thing that I learnt is that scratch isn't that hard unless you make your blocks very complicated. I also learnt that you can explore other peoples activities on scratch and that you can see other peoples code and look inside there project and then we got to look at there code and see if we could make it better but I couldn't because I looked at hard ones. I think that it was a great experience doing the scratch thing and learning about computer science and I think that Mrs Moore did a good job teaching us about scratch. I also learnt about how to use the looks blocks and that they can make it do say for a certain amount of seconds, and with the events blocks you can make it start when you press on the sprite or even press any button on the keyboard. It was a good thing that the teachers got Mrs Moore to come to the school and teach us about the coding.

I learnt what a "Variable" was and I also learnt 1 new language but i already know most of them. I also learnt what Scratch is really used for and that you can explore the different creations by other "Scratches" The experience that we had was amazing and I thank Mrs Morg for teaching us all the different stuff and that she comes back one time next year and does this again! I also learnt how to make a new sound and that you can draw and make your own pictures instead of getting all the other sprites because sometimes the scratch character that you wanted isn't there so you can either just download pictures from google or draw them yourself! Thank you Mrs Morg for all the support on teaching us how to use this program "Scratch" and teaching us all different programs so that we can use all this knowledge in the future!

Today we had Mrs.Moore come to visit us we had a lots of fun learning new thing. The main thing we were learning about was computer science, and how to use scratch.

Something that I learnt was how to start a scratch project you go into a section called events and you can chose one and all you need to do is click on what the one you choose says.

I also learnt what a sprite is a sprite is a character so like spongebob or pink panther.I also learnt how to change the sound if you go to the top of your page and find sounds and if click the speaker button and you will have all different sounds to choose from.
