3. Ability to pass a NASA space physical which is similar to a military or civilian flight physical and includes the following specific standards:

  • Distant visual acuity: 20/100 or better uncorrected, correctable to 20/20 each eye.
  • Blood pressure: 140/90 measured in a sitting position.
  • Height between 62 and 75 inches.

I wonder how amazing it can be to be able to study what is outside our tiny, little world. It is so interesting.
But, what about leaving your family for a long time, dedicating yourself to your work. Or all the risks that come with going into space, or near... Another thing that may be very stressful could be all the calculations you have to do as an astronaut that goes in space, or just as a worker that "stays with his feet on the ground". You can't be wrong!!! The tiniest mistake can lead to enormous disasters. You have to be very careful!!! and THAT is stressful.
