This guidance reminds teachers and assessors of best practices to prevent AI misuse in student work, emphasizing the importance of submitting independent work. The Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) stresses that AI misuse is considered malpractice and may lead to severe sanctions. Students and staff must understand the risks and what constitutes malpractice. Teachers should investigate any suspected AI use in student submissions. Further training on this topic will be provided at the end of August 2024.
