I grew up with many traditions in the outdoors and to this day anything outside, especially camping is my happy place. I love the pure happiness I feel when I watch a sunrise on a cool mountain morning. The outdoors have been such a major piece of me that I made sure to find a partner that shared the same appreciation. We continue outdoor activities and traditions with our children. I get in grooves where I crave something that hits the spot and eat it again, and again, and again-then it changes. Family events always have yummy food. Growing up, extended family parties were a big deal and always had a beautiful food display. I now do the same with my kids' birthday parties and holiday dinners. You bet, we crank it up and sing our hearts out! Country music makes me feel grounded, real and connected to myself. I could not imagine a world without it. The words are real and true to real life.
