Then you could incorporate training sessions using videos, links, and assignments to teach students how to effectively use the chrome books. You could also set up some sort of "digital check-in" for students to do each time they are working on some sort of assignment. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Try holding "appy" hours after school.  Low stress meetings that focus on an app that has multiple uses.  We have done this with Padlet, Adobe Spark, Seesaw, and Piccolage.  Participants can brainstorm ways to use these apps at their grade level and then share with other teachers who did not attend.<br><br></div>]]></description>

Just like classroom procedures (like when to sharpen pencils or how to ask to use the bathroom) that we teach at the beginning of the year, teachers should be clear on how they want the tech tools used in their classroom. I like Kristen Mattson's Digital Citizenship in Action and Mike Ribble's Digital Citizenship in Schools.</div>]]></description>
