My grandmother always spoke of the similarities between me and her own mother, symbolized through the rose. After completing this interview, I realize that the only way to grieve is to grieve with death sitting next to you. You must let it sink into you, tapping into the communal web of grief. Only then will you be able to experience the blessings that engulf and continue forward in the grieving process.
