This article talks about how teenagers start having their first crush around middle school, it is said that girls have a crush on boys first than boys do on them since girls enter puberty first than boys do. Many romantic crushes don't last a long time, once the reality of the person is seen usually the person that likes them doesn't like them so much anymore. Parents are encouraged to pay attention to their kids with their crush relationships and to help them, not to leave them to it and look the other way.

Sonnet 43 is about the extent of love and never letting go of another even after death. the theme is ever lasting love and not letting go even after being separated. This extent of love is show by "I love thee to depth and breadth and height my soul can reach..." (Sonnet 2-3). The thought of separation comes up and inst a problem proven by "if God so chose, I shall but love thee better after death" (Sonnet 13-14).

These lyrics from Demi Lovoto show a perspective of a daughter that doesn't have love from her dad and that he doesn't care about her anymore. You can see this when she rights, ¨How could you push me out of your world?¨ (Lovato 43). She always hears family fights. Her dad doesn't pay attention to her anymore but she still loves him. The daughter begs her dad to notice her bus he doesn't want to. The moral of the story is to never forget meaningful people because they still might love you.

This article is based off of loyalty and trust. Gordon Parks was the first African American photographer. He took pictures of Red Jackson, a former Harlem gang leader. Red always had trust in Parks when he was taking the pictures. The editors of an article requested to put a picture of Red Jackson on the front page and Gordon said no. He denied the request because he didn't want to loose his trust with Red. It is said that ¨As a result, he lost the cover¨ (PhotoEssay). Meaning that he put loyalty and trust over everything because if you break that trust, you will have a hard time getting it back.

Mystery of Romeo and Juliet

To figure out the story of Romeo and Juliet we need some insight on what it might be about. We looked at six different stories to figure out the themes of the book, the themes these stories cover are mainly about love, extent of love, loyalty, and consequences of misplaced loyalty. The organization of the padlet is by each theme connecting to the story and using themes to connect stories. The order of reading should be Sonnet 43 because it's about love and connection with For the Love of a Daughter and a main theme. Then you should go on to Adolescence & the Teenage Crush because it connects to the of love and connects with Sonnet 43. After you should continue to Loyalty: How Does it Play in Your Teen Life because this connects to the rest of the stories and loyalty is another main theme. Gordon Parks and "Harlem Gang Leader" should be read next because it's the other part of the main trust/loyalty theme. Concluding Do Juvenile Killers Deserve Life Behind Bars because they just reinforce the lesser theme that misplaced loyalties could be a big deal and lead to death or other and tie up the rest of the padlet. After reviewing the themes and connections of these stories the story of Romeo and Juliet is most likely about a relationship that is held by trust and never losing their love for each other even if separated or their loyalties being misplaced and leading to worse.

Loyalty is a big part of a teens life. Loyalty includes trust, friends, relationships. People have loyalty to many different things like: work, family, friends, and school. All these things have different amount of loyalty attached to them for each person. Teens may misplace their loyalty so parents need to guide but not teach. Misplacing trust can change a lot seen by "Sometimes, as a teen you may find your loyalties misplaced your decisions tend to go wrong and there is a lot of heartbreak" (paragraph 6). Loyalty misplaced could lead to suicides, killings, bullying.
