Furthermore, a good game should be able to keep players engaged in the issue throughout their playing experience.<br><br>The characteristics of different types of audience players should be considered when selecting the game format/medium/technology. Teenagers may prefer a more exciting, adventurous, and physically demanding game. Then AR and VR technology may be a good fit for them. On the other hand, because the elderly may have difficulty following complicated instructions and using advanced technology, AR and VR technology may not be appropriate for them. The effectiveness of the game can be maximized by selecting the most appropriate game format/medium/technology for the intended audience player.</div>]]></description>

Only a game that the players can enjoy, get a sense of accomplishment, and engage in the whole gaming process with a decent gaming experience can be called a good game. A better game will have diversified game methods, good graphics, and a clear objective for players to achieve, but most importantly, a good game must be enjoyable.<br><br>For example, mobile games will have a wider target range of audiences than console games as it is much more convenient and accessible, and most importantly, people will not have to get the chance to play by buying the console, which costs over a thousand dollars. A game targeting children's audiences will have a lower gameplay skill requirement and a mild story plot with positive messages. Besides, the game structure will be more simple. While a game targeting adult audiences will have a higher gameplay skill requirement, which may even require advanced tactics and complicated missions, a story plot with deep stories where characters, even the protagonist, may die or face traumatic experiences in the story. And the game may have many diversified gaming elements. New technology gaming elements such as VR can also turn the people who can afford the equipment to play games with such technology into the target audiences. A good game content not only emotionally engages the player and connects the player to the game story, but also helps the player develop their own critical thinking on the theme that the game expressed, including cognitive engagement. This allows the player to construct knowledge, not just get entertained by the game.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Regarding the game format. If the intended audience/ player is young generation, for example, university or high school students, some scientific knowledge or professional terms can be included. Besides, some advances technology, such as VR and AR, can also act as a tool for the interactions between the game and the player. However, if the target is older people, it should be in a more simple format, such as card game or board game. Also, the game should be more focus on delivering some general knowledge to the player/ audience instead of critical thinking and professional terms.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

Not only to keep players hooked, but also set goals for them to learn something from the games. Besides, games need to be interactive in order to be a good one. Furthermore, a good game should also have good feedback whenever there’s suggestions of improvements from the players.</div><div><br></div><div>How does game format/medium/technology relate the game to the intended audience/players</div><div><br></div><div>Format could include different genres of games, such as more exciting or adventurous for teenagers. More fun and educational for kids and more relaxing for adults. Whereas the medium could be mobile games, pc consoles, or even VR games. Mobile games are usually more popular as it is more portable, pc games could have a higher quality and more complex games, and as for VR, it could make the audience feel more involved.</div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>
