Students located the participating countries on a map, brainstormed ideas for our logo, and listened to the official song “Christmas Is Calling.”

Our students had a wonderful day designing logos for our eTwinning project!
Everyone shared amazing ideas, and all the creative work was proudly displayed in our classroom.

We held a class vote to choose our favourite logo to represent us in the project. The competition was very close — we even had a few rounds of voting before deciding on the winner!

With the help of AI, we turned the winning logo into a digital version.

The children had so much fun and put a lot of effort and imagination into their work.

Today we voted for the best logos. The students raised their hands to show which designs they liked the most.

The logo that received the most votes got 5 stars, and the second-place logo got 4 stars.

Our new activity involved making word flashcards. After choosing three Christmas-themed words, each child was given one of the words to write and illustrate on a flashcard.

Our student Piero prepared a festive Christmas orange bundt cake to share his favorite holiday dessert with the project participants.

As part of a Christmas card exchange, Croatian students designed and wrote Christmas cards for their Greek peers. After sending the cards, we awaited the arrival of those from Greece. Shortly before the Christmas holidays, each student received their own card. The students were delighted, and the activity generated great excitement and enthusiasm.

This week, we read our Common Story. Students from each country participating in the project were asked to write one page using the words provided by students from another country. In this way, we created a shared Christmas story that turned out truly beautiful.

Our page was the final one, so we were able to add our own personal ending using the words MORNING, SHINE, and SNOW. We also suggested the title “Christmas Wish,” which will be included in the voting along with the other title proposals.

Part of every e twinning project is to introduce students to internet safety. Students discussed internet safety and created illustrations for our assigned e-safety rule for the project: PRIVACY and CYBER SECURITY – Do not share personal information without consent.

After learning about e-safety, students created question about the rule they had studied and presented through poster.

A quiz was created using all of the students’ questions by a project partner. After reviewing and practicing the rules together, they successfully completed the quiz.

On January 20th, the students of class 1.a at Primary School “Blatine – Škrape” in Split, Croatia proudly presented the official project song “Christmas is Calling” to their parents.

Teachers showcased the results of the project and shared reflections on the pupils’ active participation, highlighting the positive experiences and new skills they gained throughout the project.

All students received certificates in recognition of their successful participation.
