Holden really loves his brother Allie because he was a good kid and then he grew up. got ill, and died. Phoebe is also is an innocent child and Holden loves her. He wants to protect her from the phony world. This idea also relates to Jame Castle committing suicide by falling out of a window</b></p>]]></description>
