His legs get badly burned and then has to jump out of the plane as it crashes.

His good buddy Hank helped him and they both jumped into the river, escaping the Nazis.

He and his parents nurtured them and hid them in their barn.

They have to go through many obstacles, including Jacks legs were in terrible pain.

They called the doctor and he predicted that Martin wouldn't make it.

After Jack took penicillin, he gradually got better! It was a miracle from God.

Once they're back, they hear footsteps of the Nazis! They rush to get disguised as cleaners.

It turned out that they weren't the ones that were going to be arrested...

It was the farm boy (named Vogel) that got arrested!

He and another woman got loaded up in the Nazi's big truck and left.

They knew that the Nazis would torture Vogel so bad that he might give away their location.

So they packed their bags and took a train to Paris. It was risky but they finally made it.

She told them to go down the stairs. Once they reached the bottom, several men grabbed them and told them to be quiet.

they whisked them away in a big German tour truck into a dark alley.

It turned out, the "kidnappers" were actually part of the Underground system.

a system were they fight the Nazis and help escaped soldiers!

Monique was also part of the underground too.

Now all they have to do is find a way to get to America

They need to get to the English channel. It is a challenge for Martin because his legs are in a lot of pain.

They have to walk a long distance and he doesn't know how he will do it...

It was very scary for the Americans being almost killed several times

It was getting cold and they needed a place to sleep. After many different places they slept they ended up sleeping at a school.

Their number one goal still stands: they need to get Jack Martin and Hank out of Europe and back to America.

Helpless Jack and hank have to hide in the truck as they are attacked by a plane. Three important men on their team were killed.

Monique, Jack and Hank were the only survivors. They have to run to the sea before they get tracked down.

Now they are on their own...

They asked if he could hide them and he immediately said yes. Jack and Hank hid in the back of his trailer until they reached his barn.

The barn was nice and warm and the kind farmer gave them plenty of food and water.

All of the a sudden the Nazis appeared because they had tracked them down! Jack thought for sure that they would be toast.

All of a sudden someone from the the safety house came out and fired the first shot. Soon, it was a gun battle between the two sides.

Unfortunately, Hank died, trying to defend Jack Martin. Jack was very sad but he had to take cover in the safety house.

When he got in there, they took him to an underground dock where he stayed until it was safe to leave.

To this day he is grateful for God's deliverance.
