We think case study is more interesting to engage students on analyzing real life situations, think in a reflective way about the pedagogical possibilities and propose a creative and useful solution.

Before the class we already wondered about how to make a fair assessment for all types of students in a class. Such as, neurodivergent students must have different type of evaluation, then including their way of thinking which is not the common as the neurotypical people.

But not only that, it's important to include all the types of intelligence of students, if some prefer presentation or written text, it is up to them to decide for their own, because this might highlights the doubt about the theme and then make the students think about it in their way, don't harming them.

Consequently this might be difficult for the professor to organize so many assessments for just one class.

For this reason is crucial to learn who are the students in the class and then builds some assessment depending on their necessities and positive points even if it costs your time.

Therefore, we believe that, in courses where majority of the classes have a debate style, the students already show their visions on the topics in class, the knowledge can be evaluated by a self-assessment where students can write about the knowledge they absorbed on class by the discussions had in class.

- Yasmin Roque, Sabrina Emídio, Maria Eduarda Mourão and Maria Beatriz Rodrigues.
