This day we talked about the dangers of the Internet after watching a short film.

The children expressed the care they should take when using the Internet, emphasizing the importance of informing their parents about this issue.

It was very interesting to hear them say:

"I can't say my name."

"Or my age or where I live."

"The bad guys come and steal everything in the house:"

"and they can take us."

"We have to tell our mums and dads."

After this dialogue, we wrote a letter to parents about the precautions to be taken when using the Internet.

On February 6, 2024, our kindergarten celebrated Safer Internet Day with great enthusiasm. Organized by the "Safeinternet4kids" initiative, we provided our young students with valuable information on safe internet practices. The day was filled with engaging discussions and activities aimed at promoting responsible internet use. On Thursday, March 7, an educational meeting was held with parents about Internet safety.

We had the pleasure and honor of hosting two very remarkable speakers and we thank them very much!

Deputy Police Officer Mr. Georgios Skondras, Association of the Electronic Crime Prosecution of the Volos Security Sub-Directorate with whom we had the pleasure of working together in the past and we enjoyed what he thoroughly presented to us. The topic of his presentation was: "SAFE NAVIGATION ON THE INTERNET - RISKS OF MINORS WHEN USING APPLICATIONS AND PROGRAMS" and Mrs. Toubanou Vasiliki Lydia, psychologist of our school unit who shed light with her presentation on the problems in the psychology of children of toddler age due to the use of the internet and digital devices which unfortunately increase year by year. The topic of her presentation was: "The Psychological and Social Effects of Excessive Internet Use"
