  • Must live at caymen island for at least 8 years to be a citizen. 
  • They may be able to apply for permission for themselves, their spouse and their dependents to reside permanently in the Cayman Islands. 
  • A child or grandchild of a Caymanian born in the Cayman Islands;
  • A person who is married to a Caymanian/A person who is the surviving spouse of a Caymanian
  • You have to be least 17 years old to immigrate to the island
  • 1,000 dollar filing fee for making an application, an issue fee based on the yearly earnings, 400 dollars per each dependent
  • A background criminal check will be put in place
  • Health checks to see if you are in good health and don’t have any diseases
  • Had to make an application which includes their job, education, investments, financial stability, knowledge of our island, and more!!!
  • Need a visa and some important documents to travel into the island

    health- you are required to have a basic physical to see if you are healthy

    vaccine- you will also be required to take vaccines for some diseases (diseases cause by mosquitoes, yellow, black, and white bans diseases). 

    Background checks-
    In order for you to be a able to be cleared to migrate you have to have background checks and paperwork done in your home country before you come.

People can come with their boats but need a boat and health check

    Transportation (air) - The immigrants come through the air from their local airport and at each of our airports there will be stations that the immigrants can have health checks and vaccines and will have their file reviewed.
