2* Eventually I find myself living in the Anda Lucia la Francia Neighborhood of Medellin, in a small apartment suitable for one person. However, it is very comfortable; it is white, it has one room and in the other part there is the kitchen and the bathroom. In general, I have everything I need for my personal benefit, for example: bed, closet, TV, washing machine, refrigerator, microwave, among other things.

3* Finally, my daily routine starts at 3:30 in the morning, usually from Monday to Saturday; since, my shift starts at 5:00 sharp and ends at 1:30 in the afternoon. Usually, my breakfast is at 9:30 am and my lunch at 1:00 pm. After a working day, I come home to study and to make the guides that the university courses leave, at a set time from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Later, at the end of the day around 9:00 pm, I make dinner and organize the things for the next day and then get up early again.

 

My name is Marisol Velasquez Goez I am single. I am from Apartado, I am 25years old. I am Store manager for Tostao’s I am studying at UNAD. I live in Medellin. In my free time, I sometimes like to go out with my friends and usually I go dancing at night. 

- What are the main touristic places in this city? 

 

The main touristic places in Medellin are: There are high places around town from where you can view the whole Valley of Medellin, there are many night clubs to go dancing on weekends, there is the Jardin Botanico (The Botanical Garden), There is Explora Park, there is Arby’s Park, among others

 

- What is the typical food in your city? 

The typical food in my city is the Bandeja Paisa (rice, beans, fried pork and fried egg) The Sancocho which is a stew, the Empanada and the Arepa.

 

-What are the main celebrations in your city/town?

The main celebrations in my city are: La fiesta de las Flores (Flower Fest) in August and on December we have The Mitos y Leyendas Parade (Myths and Folk Stories)

 

- What activities can you do in your city/town? 

In my city I can do many things, Medellin is a big city with many shopping centers, cinemas, parks and a lot of places to go eating, drinking and dancing. I rarely stay at home on weekends, there are many things to do in Medellin.
