         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Navigation Acts: the colonist could only trade with Great Britain. The colonist reacted by smuggling, boycotting, and protesting.<br>The Stamp Act: the tax was on any and every printed paper had to have a stamp bought (one stamp was purchased for one stamp each) the colonist reacted by ignoring the act, boycotted, and protested as well as to make The Stamp Act Congress. <br>The Quartering Act: British troops had to be housed in any available home and the colonist were taxed without representation in Parliament the colonist reacted by ignoring the British troops, protested, and boycotted.</div>]]></description>
